*WALL OF TEXT ALERT!*

I've decided to introduce a Tokens (dkp) system in Exalted.
This is a system that is frowned upon by many, but worshipped by others. Frowned upon by casual raiders, but adored by hardcore raiders. This because the hardcore raiders will have the best shot at a long awaited drop while placing the casual raiders second in line. Both sides are very understandable. Why raid if one can't get the loot? Why raid if you raid for months for an item and when "your" drop finally comes it goes to a first timer?

These are the question all large guilds have to deal with and we in Exalted will try our best to please both sides.

So are we going hardcore?

Yes and no. I want to be sure to reward those who show up regularly to our raids and I also want to make sure to keep old players with mains in the raids.

So, does this mean that the casual member who can't join all raids, and when he is playing with us he want to have fun and raid, wont get any epics?
No!
Keep in mind that the "hardcore" members probably already have the item that drop so chances are pretty big you can get the loot. But you will most likely not get the first drop as this is a drop that the hardcore members have worked hard and long to get. It's really only fair. Working in a boss takes time and many evenings of failed attempts.

So yes, there are chances to get those purple pixels even though you only join for raids once in a while. We are also mature and most of us understand that it benefits the guild more to equip a player with greens than it does to upgrade an existent blue/purple item.
